The Patriots making mistakes?

What do you guys think. While looking through the stattracker that was posted I saw the patriots. They have so far cut/lost 8 players, and many were great starters for them!
G Joe Andruzzi (FA, CLE)
WR Troy Brown (cut)
G Wilbert Brown (cut)
TE Zeron Flemister (cut)
CB Ty Law (cut)
CB Earthwind Moreland (cut)
LB Roman Phifer (cut)
DL Buck Rasmussen (cut)

Law, Brown, Phifer, and Andruzzi are the big names. So do you think they've made a mistake letting so many go? Personally I think it could come bite them. Who knows.
