Would be nice if he did, but the thing is damage was done regardless. I know some of the Brennan folks and other want JC to get benched or not resigned if we falter this year, but JC might just decide to take off and land himself with a contender if we do fall by the wayside. People can forgive Skins4L, but they usually don't forget, meaning JC just might use the Cutler/Sanchez drama as an excuse to jump ship if he feels the franchise isn't going anywhere. Let's face it, the FO hasn't really done anything lately to give him help. No real positive picks or FA pickups for the O line(except Dockery, and that isn't so great of an upgrade), a real shaky WR corp(Moss, plus a bunch of unproven scrubs), and of course the Cutler/Sanchez trade dramas. To be honest, if I was JC and jerked around like I have, with a team that really has lots of holes in it, if I am lucky to survive the season I would really consider bolting if the season ended up being another disappointment. I mean JC is at the point in his career where he will want to position himself on a solid contender. He has his $$$$$$$$$ already.
