Everyone assumes Zorn's departure would be a firing but I truly believe it's more likely he leaves of his own accord (partly because I don't think Snyder/Cerrato want to fire him after one season and partly because I really suspect Zorn will have had enough by season's end). So the scenario would be Mora as HC and Zorn as OC in Seattle. Zorn wouldn't have to deal w/ the media any longer - especially DC media - and overall would avoid the kind of scrutiny that has him looking like a nervous wreck.

Bottom line: i really suspect Zorn is deciding whether the HC gig is for him (yet) and won't be surprised if we have a 2nd HC resign in two consecutive seasons.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if he resigns and Seattle picks him up IN ANY CAPACITY then Seattle owes us compensation right? Like a draft pick or two?
