Running Game Scheme Question under Coach Zorn

I know this has been discussed before but I wanted to see if anyone had answers to a couple of questions as it relates to Coach zorn and the implementation of a new offensive system. I saw that Jim Zorn said he was going to keep most of the running scheme that was in place before he was hired by the Redskins and the passing game is where most of the changes will occur.

1.) I was wondering though - is this in the best interest of Clinton Portis? It seems that Portis thrived under the Denver Broncos spread offense and I would think that a running attack that uses more of a spread would really improve his numbers.

2.) How different is the West Cost Offense than the Broncos spread offense? I just wanted to see if anyone could provide clarification as far as if these schemes are vastly different and if they are not and if the Skins are going to put in a new playbook why not adjust the running game to Portis's strengths?
