I can't imagine that Gibbs & Co. were disenchanted with all of the defensive linemen projected to go in the first 10-15 picks. But then, they don't seem to be enamored with ANY defensive linemen year after year.
Even if they weren't happy with the D-linemen at #6, why not trade down just a few spots and pick up more selections in the second or third? Winding up with the #31 spot in the first round smashes any notion of trading down.
