Jon Jansen Signs an Extension with Skins'

Comcast SportsNet's Chick Hernandez has learned that Redskins right tackle Jon Jansen has signed a new deal that will keep him in Washington through 2011.

The team is expected to announce the new contract on Tuesday. The deal is for five years, worth in the neighborhood of $22 million.

Jansen, who has worn the burgundy and gold since 1999, is already the longest tenured Redskin on the roster.
