For Real-Real and for Play-Play: Super Bowl Style

For Real-Real:

Ben Roethlisberger - For being a second year player who threw two EXTREMELY costly interceptions, he showed poise and made plays when he had to make them. He managed the game effectively and got the ball to his playmakers.

Matt Hasselbeck - As much as I hate this cocky asshole, he is going to be a star in the league (if he isn't already). Granted, he has the benefit of one of the better offensive lines I've seen in a while (which I get into below), but he throws bullets, is accurate as hell and makes surprising plays with his feet.

Seattle Offensive Line - Talk about giving time for Hasselbeck to throw and Alexander to run. Thank goodness for the rest of the league that Hutchinson will probably be somewhere else next year.

Pittsburgh Front Four - Seattle hardly TRIED to run up the middle and if they did, the gain was minimal.

For Play-Play:

Shaun Alexander - I've never seen a more soft-running pansy of a running back. Enjoy your MVP and touchdown record because you were the 100% product of a great supporting cast, offensive line especially. I nearly vomited when the announcers marvelled at his talent when he just RAN BEHIND HIS LINE. He didn't make any tough moves, didn't make any cuts. If he didn't have Jones and Hutchinson, he wouldn't have had half the TDs he did.

Mike Holmgren's Game Plan - It started off sound and then for some reason, he quickly got from it.

Matt Hasselbeck's Audibles - Your coach called the play. RUN IT.

Super Bowl Commercials - Boring.
