Somebody forgot to tell EB that Sam should have been a game manager type QB .. He used him like he was Mahomes.. WTF
That is my issue with Sam .. he was used totally wrong and it has really hurt him .. that's on the coaches !
Same thing in Atlanta with Ridder the coach tried to make him a top franchise QB and it cost him his job .. we were never gonna win 11 games with Sam in his rookie year .. should have established a run game .. take the pressure off QB and play some D every now and then .. the results could have been different .. but oh well the silver lining is we were so bad we got 2cnd pick in draft and the entire staff is gone .. so maybe it all worked out
