Several of us reiterated that to him last night. McLaurin has proven in his brief career that's he's a WR1 even with average-to-decent QBs. Football guys has him rated in the top 10-15 wideouts in the league. The receivers are getting open, but Howell isn't exactly force feeding any particular receiver and he frequently will waste an opportunity due to indecisiveness.
If Howell were to volume-toss to McLaurin then he'd change his tune about him being a WR2. Then again, it seems like this is the hill he wanna die on.
