Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread

1st, I would like to say that the lack of a gameday thread at 12:01am has clearly been a major reason for our 0-2 start.

2nd, I'm not volunteering to start one then.

Is this game "for the season", it sure feels like a huge must win given the stats on 0-3 teams. But then again, if Dallas loses - could happen, then we might be in one of those rare seasons where 0-3 isn't a death sentence.

I hate the 0 - whatever stat the Lions have going in Washington, just because the old Skins(2007-2011) would be doomed to lose just for that reason, though we did beat them in 2007 at Fedex.

To this game:
Our offensive stats are nearly equal, of course we really have only played 2 halves of football, so if we can get the offense going IN THE FIRST HALF we should be able to double what they can do offensively.

Our defense obviously needs to play with a lead. That is a heavy burden on this offense right now.

Detroit's defense, from stats looks effective, but they did give Minnesota 24 points (though they shut AP down after his first big run).

Bottomline,
The Skins need this game a whole lot more than Detroit does. Let's see if they can find it within themselves to play like they need it.

Skins 31
Lions 28
