If I remember right, didn't the Browns trade the rights to draft Sanchez in large part because they thought they had their QB in Quinn?

They ended up targeting Alex Mack, who you can't draft with the 5th pick without looking like you didn't try.

It's interesting because Mangini accepted a lot of roster fodder as trade compensation. They could have gotten a lot more if they had simply asked for fair value in picks.
