Kiper or McShay has speculated that Gabbert is suffering from David Carr syndrome where he got hit a little to much and didn't have the mental toughness to really recover. Not to be confused with physical toughness and not exactly saying he's soft but there seems to be a train of thought that said being thrown into the fire like he was basically made his high football IQ a moot point.

If Gabbert goes the way of David Carr then the Jags are the favorites in the Barf for Barkley sweepstakes.
