Re: Redskins and Titans talking trade again on Albert Haynesworth

I may be wrong but I am 100% convinced that someone in the organization is feeding Reid prepared information. This whole thing was not a smokescreen at all. Zero chance. If it was, they would have backed Al the second the rumors came out, not 2 or 3 days later. Anyway, I am glad Al has at least one game to show his value. No matter what people say, he was dominant at several points in the pre-season. Even in the Cardinals game he embarrassed Faneca who is a Hall of Famer. I am just glad that I can think about Dallas for a few days. Let the soap opera continue on Monday (unless we win of course). Btw. The 3-4 is a huge risk this year and especially against Dallas this week. I said months ago that we do not have the linebackers to run it effectively and I still believe that. Carter has no effective role in this defense, he cannot cover a tight end, runningback or fullback and that isn't changing. This would be a great game to unleash Carter on their right tackle. Blades or Lorenzo can't cover either and it isn't Rocky or Fletcher's strength. We have no one except a corner or possibly Landry who can slow down Witten and that is going to be painful on Sunday night. We need to play enough 4-3 to slow down the running game and hope that we get some turnovers. If we don't win the turnover battle, I don't see how we can win if we play predominantly 3-4. We need a big game out of the D because Dallas' D is going to be tough. T. Williams is going to need help all night against Ware and I am hoping Rabach plays out of his mind. |
