It was a misake IMO for him to admit to the police his involvement to any extent. This is not his first time dealing with law enforcement, he should know what not to say. Complete hijack but along the lines of admit nothing - the other day I was tooling down Interstate 97 at a speed that may have exceeded the limit and the amount in excess may have been more than slight, and I may have changed lanes without a turn signal, and in doing so I may have cut-off the car behind me (who happened to be a State Trooper).

The Trooper pulled me over and asked "Do you know why I pulled you over?" As multiple combinations of the above raced through my mind, I reminded myself to simply say "Uh, no officer." Him: "Any reason you're not wearing a seatbelt?". Me: "Uhhhh, I forgot."

Gave him license and registration and he gave me a $25 ticket for no seat belt. I think it was "take pity on the idiot day"

Now - back to Big Ben and the Big Bang Theory.
