I've never heard of the new RB, but his scouting report sounds promising and at this point, we need to try new things with some new personnel, on and off the field.
Picking up Levi Jones is overdue. Great move and I'll give the team credit for making it, even if late. If he can stay healthy, he has a lot of potential and really, he's the best FA we could get right now. No team is trading or releasing quality linemen.

I wanted Levi Jones, I am happy we got Levi Jones, I will never know if we tried, but he wouldn't sign until he knew he would be a starter, or if we just didn't try.
IF the FO tried, but LJ said, I'm not signing till I know I can be a starter. Than awesome move for picking him up pretty quickly once Samuels was out.
IF the FO said, lets see how far Samuels can carry us, and then worry about it once he goes down. Terrible move for not having the plan in place since we all knew Samuels was going to miss games, the question was just how many.
I don't know which scenario is closer to the truth, but my guess is probably #2. (although again Bugel made his preseason comments about the LT spot, and LJ definitely wanted to be a starter, so #1 could be the truth)
