SlingBox - watching Skins out of DC

Has anyone used or heard of the SlingBox?

I'm sick of missing games because I live in North Carolina and we only get the Skins "sometimes". I know DirecTV is an option - but not for us, we're tied into a term deal with Time Warner at the moment.

From what I gather, I can stick this $99 SlingBox at my sister's place in NoVa. And then I can watch all of the local programming (aka Skins games) on my computer at home.

Sling Media - US Home

Is it really that simple? Will it affect/bother my sister's cable arrangement?

If anyone has used this and can confirm that it would work well for me (and any of you that are out of the DC area) - I'm all over it.

Thanks for your help!
