Just downloaded this demo from the marketplace. I have to say this is leaning toward decent but very elementary in complexity.

I had higher hopes that the play calling screen would be better organized.

There is the Pick play by form., play type, ask corso, key player or last 5 plays. There is too much juvenile presentation to it.

In 2006, we know football leave the ask for input part out, who even uses that??? why??? Get it off, thats screen room I prefer to be blank.

Play Type or Play Formation- why cant people know a playbook? I understand college leveled young guys playing in a league with seperate philosophies, talents, matchups than the nfl but come on and decide one or the other.

Key players and last 5 plays. Who are the boneheads that dont play with a preconcieved plan of attack?? This is football remember. Utilize the practice mode or just play the game you'll understand who can be used and how to use them. If anyone is picking plays and doesnt remember what they picked 2 seconds ago then they never played football and these games shouldn't be geared on their level. every play has an illustration anyhow and I know these games aren't intended for the blind yet that is how pee-wee minded it really is.

Leaving a 6 year old mentality market behind however, would cost them Tens of Millions. Its sad, thats why the NFL EA deal was horrible. It leaves no room for any company to hold them accountable.

Turnoff the commentating, I cant even stand watching NFL games on TV. Having a commentator for TV only benefits viewers that are Blind. They actually pay someone to tell me Portis took the handoff, cuts up in the middle dashes to the outside and gets bumped outta bounds for 7 yard gain. Yeah I just saw that, may I have a referee mic or team captains mic up so I can hear barking, banging, collisions, natural human noises, can I be put onto the field since that experience is basically as unkown as the Oval Office.

Do I really need a Cowboy to call my Redskin game listening to his counter parts tell me someone is a CLASSY GUY, who the hell cares. If class mattered then why arent the facemasks made outta gold? Why are players allowed to play with grass stains? Why cant defenders hold their fingers out like a pistol and instead of tackling their guy they play shoot and judging if he got you or not the runner is downed ? I'll turn on the radio if I want a play by play, read an article about what happen in May, or Tues. Better yet I'll turn on the tv if i want to SEE B.S (CBS). Classy- stylish or elegant . Commentating is ridiculous, they are so involved that ref's should actually be reporters, and have camera men sitting on the field getting runover.

Back to this games flaws. Everything in the demo, adjust to the 360 makes no sense buttons layout, audibles are so different than Madden 06 for me to get down with it hopefully you guys can.

I'll start another thread that indicates where football on next gen ought to go.

Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself. MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank"and "ind." What do these words mean? It's a mystery and that's why so is mankind. --Jack Handy Deep Thoughts
