I know this doesn't necessarily speak to Dougs ability to evaluate talent, but it doesn't inspire much faith in this FO without Mccloughan. I've heard that Gruden is a good talent evaluator (Cooley, Cousins, and McCloughan have all said it), and I certainly hope so, because in this critical off season we need someone who can find the right guy if Cousins won't stay.
