Who do you foresee coaching Philly?
Wasn't talking about Norv as a HC

No idea. Think they're going to go D, so I'll say Perry Fewell or Mike Zimmer. Sleeper could be Jay Gruden.

Re: Around The NFL...Week 16 Style

My fear is that Jon Gruden gives up his happy commentator job to coach Philly or Dallas.

Luckily, Dallas has done enough to save Garrett's job again, but Gruden in the NFC East scares me.

Philly is probably more of a possibility than Dallas, but I think if anyone San Diego would be a favorite for Gruden

Holmgren wants the Dallas job, I could see Jones going after Chip Kelly first though

Also, the Chargers will soon be the LA Chargers.

Could you imagine if the NFC East coaches were Gruden, Holmgren, Coughlin, and Shanahan? That would be pretty wild, actually. One has to imagine that the NFC East would be back in full measure.

Hehe that's fantastic! I thought he was rumored to go back to Oaktown? Can't let him into the NFCE.

Re: Around The NFL...Week 16 Style

Why is everyone afraid of Jon Gruden? He has a superbowl but it is not like his team was in the playoffs every single year after that. The Bucs were actually very inconsistent, I am not that afraid as Gruden as a coach, but I do love his Quarterback conversations on ESPN.

He did some nice things in Oakland too. It was basically his team that lost to the bucs in the sb.

To be honest it was Dungy's team that won the superbowl for him as well.
