Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over

I loved the throwbacks! I think the 'skins should make those uniforms permanent. The helmet is really cool too, but maybe keep the leather "texture" of the helmet, color it burgundy (just like our regular helmets) and of course put the logo back on it and that would be an awesome look for the Redskins.

I agree, I was just pointing that out. People seem to hate the throwbacks because we lose when we wear them, but the reality is we lose enough as it is. What's our record going back the last 5 seasons? 26 victories since the start of the 2008 season? Pitiful.

Throw backs looked cool but I wouldn't want them (even if we changed the helmet) as the regular uniform. I like the burgandy pants with the white jerseys and the gold pants with burgandy jerseys. For helmets I like the one we have now but the arrow helmet is a good change of pace...

Yeah the helmet didnt necessarily look bad I guess. Just kind of corny - a genuine imitation leather helmet? The unis are kickass. Would love to see a helmet in the same colors with an awesome logo.
Hey how bout if we make the playoffs you buy me a throw back jersey?
Lol

Since actual panthers are black, this makes sense. Long overdue.

Interesting move, the new Browns ownership actually polled the Browns players about changing the uniforms.

The new owner has stated he intends on changing the uniforms, but not the helmet. No helmet logo is coming.
