Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

LOL Shanny might as well have said "Son, you're gonna need to grow another six inches."

Banks had terrible hands anyway, too big a risk as PR/KR or WR.

If Terrance Austin is still on the team he becomes the new KR/PR. If not him i could see someone like Bernsteine

In my books, I have Banks and Austin as for sure goners. As far as KR, that's going to be a nice little challenge. I personally would love to see Robinson back there, but we have a fair amount of speed demons now.

Re: Shanahan Tells Banks He Better Learn to Play WR

Banks apparently put on a lot of muscle this off-season, which may help him take the pounding at WR. But who knows how it may have impacted his speed. Either way, he's on a very short leash

Yeah, I'd put my money on gone. I just don't see him making the transition to WR. I hope he catches on with another non-NFC East team, he's definitely exciting in the return game.

Bingo.....The best WR between Austin and Robinson will make the team as the 6th receiver and returner.

So your saying he pasted the Eyeball Test?

Banks was ranked like 56th in KR last year and was in the middle of the pack against players that had 25 or more KR. Its a great story but if that all he has then he need to let him go.

Yes. Copy and Pasted

I didn't even think Banks and Armstrong would make the team last season

Re: Shanahan Tells Banks He Better Learn to Play WR

I would be shocked if Banks is on the opening day roster. Terrence Austin, Aldrick Robinson, Josh Wilson, Barnes, Brandon Thompson can all return kicks...I know I'm forgetting someone else....

Moss. But I don't think they wanna take the chance on him getting blown up on KRs.
