Redskins | Rogers Set Back by Foot Injury Wed, 29 Jun 2005 16:36:13 -0700 Adam Schefter reported on the NFL Network that Washington Redskins rookie CB Carlos Rogers (foot) has a stress fracture in his foot and is going to undergo additional tests. He is not expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

I pretty much expected Harris to be the starter due to experiance, but this is not good news. Luckily we dont really face any "pass heavy" teams for a few weeks into the year, so hopefully Rogers can get back somtime early in training camp and pick things up to be ready to play a large role in week 4 or 5.

that stinks, i was hoping the skins would have their full roster at camp, all healthy and ready to get to work. hopefully he does'nt miss too much.

Well I guess thats why we got Hawkins.....I really hope Rogers gets healthy soon, stress fractures tend to really linger.

This is the first offseason in a long time that has been filled with disappointment. Maybe, as has been pointed out in other threads, this poor offseason bodes well for the real season.
