LOL. I'm sorry, you're right. We're getting Colt McCoy...and Jordan Shipley

In all seriousness, as far as potential FAs (aside from Manning and I guess Orton, though I'm not as sure about the intensity of that one) names I most often here are Hoyer (I know he's restricted), Josh Johnson, Clausen. Others, of course, are mentioned here and there (like Dennis Dixon) but none with the frequency of the first three.

And I don't think that even Josh Johnson is that strong a rumor, quite frankly.

Peyton or bust for me... lol...

Give me that guy a backup and a rookie. That's all I want for Christmas.

Has Tannehill confirmed that he won't be participating at the Combine this year? Wasn't sure if anyone has heard.

Of all the NFL QBs, Hoyer is easily my favorite option (depending on the price, of course).

This article mentions that he will not...

Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign

So apparently the Lions have told Shaun Hill they want him back, which I guess means they've chosen him over Drew Stanton

I could see some teams being interested in Stanton

Was Stanton the guy that was so unaware he ran out the back of the endzone for a safety a couple years ago? Or am I thinking of Dan Orlovsky?

Horrible. I don't know much about Stanton, other than he's a backup.

Interesting that Brock Osweiler is now in Scout Inc.'s top 32 with a grade of 90 and ranked 22nd over all.

McShay, whom I think is a joke of a scouter (see Jevan Snead) said that the more and more he's watched of Brock, the more and more he's convinced he'll be great.

Matt Miller of NFL New Era Scouting who also works for, wait for it... Bleacher Report! Said the he's pissed that Arizona made him throw curls and flare out's and laterals and not more posts, outs, digs, streaks, etc. He said had they of done that with him, he'd probably be top 10...

Panthers face decision on Jimmy Clausen - NFC South Blog - ESPN
Stuck down here in Panthers territory, I saw Clausen more than anyone would ever want to see him, except perhaps his mother. He seems to lack some of the basic skills required to play QB in the NFL. Does not read the def well, does not seem to see the obvious, slow delivery, not very good on the deep ball, does not have escapability from the pocket, and does not have field presence (just does not look confident). Rex wins competition against him, hands down. Clausen is really closer to Beck than Grossman.
