Who's going to return punts?
So with all these return men, who do YOU want deep for us come Fall?
Moss? Thrash? Brown? Dyson? (Possibly McQuarters if we sign him, but it looks like that might be slipping away)?

Re: Who's going to return punts?
Thrash will probably be returning punts. He is not going to start at WR. He is a good returner who you can trust with the ball.

Re: Who's going to return punts?
I would bet on Thrash returning punts, and Thrash and Brown sharing the kickoff duties with perhaps Betts also filling in on kicks.
I don't see Moss playing much on special teams unless it's a key game. He's just too fragile to risk on returns. |

Thrash is also bad ass on kick coverage. I forget what game it was but he downed like 3 punts inside the 5.

Re: Who's going to return punts?
i think that antonio brown will be the guy returning punts for us this year. when you have cp saying that his 40 time is the fastest that he has ever seen. look at his returns last year for us they were mind blowing when he got going. he is a threat to take one to the house everytime he touches the ball. most likely thrash will be used on the kickoffs along with betts.

brown... he's SOOO fast, and since he's not that a great a receiver, injury concerns aren't a big deal.

I vote for Brown with Moss mixed in on big 4th quarter returns...

Re: Who's going to return punts?
I generally don't like the idea of a #1 wideout returning punts - so forget Moss. Thrash isn't as explosive as he used to be. Dyson's got too many injuries to be counted on. So Brown it is!

Mark Brunell. He's GOT to be good for something...Oh, wait. He's not.

Re: Who's going to return punts?
I think Thrash will be the punt returner, with Antonio Brown and Thrash returning kicks (Brown being primary).

Re: Who's going to return punts?
id much rather have brown returning punts, he is so small and fast and did a much better job than thrash IMO even though brown avg'd 8.9 per PR to thrash's 8.8. brown was much more elusive and polished. thrash will be one of our KR's, Defensive SP's, and in on max protect 3 wide sets on offense. gibbs loves thrash's smarts and blocking for a wr. so i see alot of motion out of him like last season setting up portis and max protecting when needed.
