Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
Yeah I don't see them winning any games. Maybe the Jags.

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
I agree that they are a lock. One possible winable game is against the texans. A couple pick sixs from leinart (if he is the leinart of old) and thats game.

First, he wins all the games upon his return, knocking Indi out of the first slot. We are there. Peyton demands a trade from the team (just b/c). We get him him for next year's first round pick. We sign Reggie Wayne as a free agent. With the 1st pick we take Luck. It's a plan!

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
Indi 0 / 10
Carolina 2 / 7 Miami 2 / 7 Minn 2 / 7 Jax 3 / 6 Phili 3 / 6 Cleve 3 / 6 Gotta believe w/out dissecting each schedule that Minn, Phili, Miami, Jax, and Carolina will win some more games. Not sure w/ Indi, Cleve. We'll most likely w/ a couple more games too. Maybe. I say we're top 5 or real close though. Out of that group there are only a few that needs a QB: Miami Cleve-maybe Indi would draft Luck anyways most likely. I think we'll be in a good position. |

Gets so OLD, every summer it's "Skins will go after ..... " Why can't we just say Skins will draft a QB in the top 5 and build around him for once.

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
Steve Smith will probably burn them, burn them all to the ground. Quite frankly, a part of me hopes that they lose out completely so that lucky bastard Bill Polian can have a tainted mark on his resume.

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
True, but Titans is home and the colts know them well. The Texans lost their QB for the year, so I wouldn't be surprised. Also the Ravens have been losing to bad teams.

Re: Build the Redskins for 2012
1. QB: Top priority. Do what you can to get Andrew Luck, but don't go TOO far. There are some other great QB prospects out there.
2. Build depth on the OL. 3. I think the Redskins are going to have to make a splash in getting a top notch RB in free agency. Not sure Hightower can come back from an ACL/MCL tear? That's tough for a running back. Heck, that's tough for any player. 4. Improve the secondary either through the draft of free agency. We need safeties that can cover. 5. I think we have some promise with Hankerson, Moss, Gaffney, Paul, Austin, and Armstrong. Not sure we need to make a big splash at WR. Summary: Quarterback or bust! If we don't do anything else right next offseason, at least hit that draft pick out of the park.
