Joe Gibbs did not start any of those bums.....and he appears to have learned his lesson from overpaying Brunell.

He also considers pulling the QB a last resort, so Ramsey will not be on a short leash as someone has said, and will really have to be stinking up the joint to be replaced....see Brunell last year, and think about what could have happened had he made the switch 2-3 games earlier! Also, Gibbs likes veterans and will not start a rookie QB, unless it's his only option due to injuries, so Brunell will be the #2 this year, whether we like it or not.

My prediction: Campbell will not start a regular season game before 2007....and what happens then will depend on Ramsey.

Re: Jason Campbell

I think Ramsey will be the man the whole season - Campbell will get a drive here or there (hopefully) if we are ever in the situation of a big lead late in the game, Gibbs will probably give him a drive or two just to give him a little PT and experience of the speed of a real NFL game.
If Ramsey goes down injured or plays like Brunell did this past year we will see Brunell on the field (eek!).
Other than a drive here or there Campbell won't get any serious PT, possibly a max of about 30 attempts all season - I'd be VERY suprised if he were to sit the whole season without and gametime at all.
Preseason will be fun just to get a few glimpses of what he can do though.

Re: Jason Campbell

He might get some time in a preseason game......... but hey so will Burnell, why risk injury to your starting QB, Ramsey............

Re: Jason Campbell

After last preseason, I'm concerned for ANY of our starters.
