Oh no the horror, someone showing some confidence in their team.

Everyone laughed when Grossman predicted we'd win the division, doesn't seem as funny now.

At least he's 1/1 with his predictions so far.

Maybe one day a player should go out and say "we're going to be mediocre this year." I bet that probably doesn't get much coverage.

The Skins are enjoying their success and should be. They deserve it!

I'm all about confidence. I'm not all about Super Bowl declarations to the media. You can believe in your team and do it amongst yourselves. I'm just not a fan of spouting to the microphone. I always have and always will enjoy when the teams I cheer for play things close to the vest.

Hmm, about we just worry about Philly and revisit this topic later?
Well, you know what they say about Redskins in a lockout year

To me predicting you are going to the SB, when your team is just above average, is just trying to garner media attention and nothing else. Skins don't have the QB or the defensive backfield to go to the SB. Grossman was hot the first two weeks, but has fallen by the wayside the last two. One thing about fantasy football, you know who is getting the job done, and it isn't Rex since week 3. The MNF game was served to us on a platter and thanks to Rex and Kyle, the Skins passed. We only scored 17 pts against the hurting Rams also, another gimme game, where Rex sucked. Hopefully the bye week will do Rex some good and we will get Sexy Rexy back week 5. If we get "bad" Rex week 6, 8-8 is about where we will stand at the end of the season, if not 7-9.

Shouldnt have Romo gotten this award in weeks 1 & 4? He's a repeat offender, but they dont have the 3 stike rule in TX so he can just keep doing his thang.

Seriously...I don't understand why it's such a negative thing to say that he thinks his team will be in the Super Bowl. Now, I don't necessarily agree with him because I don't know if Rex can take this team that far, but I'm really glad he's got confidence and it seems like this team finally has some swagger.

Also, and I don't really play this card too often, but the guy's been to a Super Bowl before and maybe he knows what it takes to get there, so I thinks it's pretty cool that he said it.

Finally, re: the OP, what Felix did was inexcusable, but what the hell was that playcall?! It was 4th and 20 and Romo checks it down to him, now I'm not saying he should have gone out of bounds, but I didn't see anyone for him to pitch it to, so what was the plan for that play? I feel like the entire team thought it was 3rd down, coaches included, and just wanted to get a few yards to make 4th more manageable. If that's my last playcall, I'm going with a hook and ladder or something...I don't know what the hell was going on there, but it was definitely ALL bad.

I'm not trying to take the blame from Felix, but the whole play was a bit of a head scratcher for me.

I think waht Brown did was by design (poor design at that) but it looked as if there was a player on the out side ready to have the ball thrown their way.

That's the thing, the Bears proved that Grossman can crap the bed every other week and the team can still make the SB. I think this D and running game are BETTER than that Chicago team.

We just need him to have a few good games and a bunch of so-so games with some mistakes that aren't completely devastating to the scoreboard.

He's good for at least one INT and one fumble every game...the D knows this and steps it up.

Not sure that our D is better than that Chicago team. We have only played one team so far with a winning record (Giants) I am all for being pumped for our performance so far but I don't see us as a Super Bowl team at all yet. (total reverse jinx in effect here)
