Kelvin Hayden on the other hand...

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

Hopefully Hayden's signed in the next day... Just don't trust Barnes or Westbrook backing up Hall or J. Wilson. Hayden is a safer bet and a damn good CB when healthy (8 PDs, 2 INTs both for TD's)

Hall, Hayden, and J. Wilson, is much better than putting Barnes or Westbrook in that rotation.

That's the rumor. I wonder if he will maybe play some safety in camp? Or would Barnes? Though I think they want Barnes to focus on CB

Either way, Landry and Moore are both on the PUP list. And I don't know what the deal is with either one. On top of that, they let Macho Harris walk and I don't know what's going on with Horton.

So I think they need to bring in someone for safety depth

I heard that Landry is closer to returning than Moore. Henson is closer too

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

IMO Barnes played better at S than CB. If I'm correct, we're at 90 player max? So do the 3 PUP players count for roster spots or not? Asumming we sign Hayden.

I am not sure what kind of great "in-game adjustments" we saw last year. I guess when you are down 45-14 at half time (Eagles MNF debacle) and only give up 14 in the second half, you consider that a great adjustment? Ha! I say the eagles took their foot off the accelerator on the way to us giving up 59 points. The 31-7 loss to Giants in week 13 (late in the season) was not much better.
But go on and believe our defense was not that bad.
The defense held opponents to under 20 points in 5 of the last 7 games. Including the Giants in Week 17 during a must win contest for New York. Not to mention holding the Super Bowl Champs to 13 points earlier in the year. There is hope for the defense to do much better this time around. Especially now that we have a D-Line to protect our ILB's as well as a complimentary rusher to Orakpo, and a FS that can cover deep.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

Technically we're just at 87 players. The three on the PUP list don't count toward the 90 limit
