Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

Did WE ever give him a physical because I bet he would have failed for the past 2 or 3 years if so?

Darn, I was hoping to burden the Ravens with him.

So now what...Birk is hurt, Casey deal over now? Plus, we have Chester...they have no center?

I guess it will depend how Osi acts. It may or may not be a circus, but once again, I just don't understand why these teams insist on keeping malcontents (and that includes the Skins last year).

He was drafted by shanny, and from what I understand did pretty well in our blocking scheme.
I've wondered why we didn't get Harris, too. Maybe a far better chance to start in Philly was persuasive to him.

Well yeah it looks like for the time being at least there will be no joy in Baltimore for Casey. Birk may only miss a couple of weeks they say. As for what they do in the meantime. Don't know. Olin Kreutz maybe?

Then they couldn't play hot potato because the ball would be in the dirt.

Kreutz would be great -- his teammates think he's the toughest guy on that squad. He's no kid, but veyr solid and should have a few good years left.

He should be a starter somewhere. Only way he backs up Birk is if he really really wants a shot with a contender. That or they tell him he can play Right Guard when Birk comes back. Do the Ravens have a replacement for Chester yet because I'm under the impression that this is the starting lineup when everyones healthy

No, it's like four square, you have to bounce it and then smack it back. They would be the elite players if those were the rules.
