Look I want to clear a few things up. 1) I think Snyder has done some terrible things and continues to do terrible things; 2) I think Mike Vick has done some terrible things in his past; 3) I think Kim Jon Il is a horrible person and there is obviously no comparison to Snyder or Vick.

My whole point about Snyder is that he is a bad person with a extremely dark heart, possibly as dark as Edana’s heart in WoW (I don’t play video games but this is the first person to pop up from a google “dark heart” search, so I apologize if Edana’s heart is too dark or not nearly dark enough). Is Snyder as bad of a person as Kim Jon Il or Edana, of course not. Has he committed the horrific things Mick Vick once did, probably not. Would I want to hang out with Danny and get to know him or give him a chance as concurrently trys to bankrupt a small local paper or flexes his branding rights on what should be a local ally (WaPo)? Absolutely not. Does the fact that he (or anyone else) throws money at local charities make me look past his Edana like heart? No.

Again in my opinion I think youre supposed to do good things, that’s why a big fuss isn’t made about the positive things you do. Its awkward when people praise you for the positives you’ve done. Its constructive when people criticize you for your wrong doings. Danny HAS done some bad things and CONTINUES to do bad things. No matter how good his stories or how funny his jokes may be I judge him based off of his continued actions. Maybe im shallow…….

Ill continuing routing for Danny’s Team, because I also consider them my team. Unfortunately me and him probably wont ever become best buds and ill always have trouble not looking the other way when he does terrible things but well at least always have something in common. Who knows maybe were more alike then I think…..
Unless you know him personally, not sure how you can prove he has a dark heart, whatever that means. A dark hearted person probably wouldn't go to the lengths that Snyder has in regard to his charitable contributions.

As for your links, all you're proving is there is two sides to every story. As usual the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Nobody has to do good things, and there's nothing wrong with praising someone for it. That's why we have award shows, graduation ceremonies, and other celebrations that award good deeds or accomplishments.

Re: Snyder Sends Kids Outside, Tears Up Their Fields

I don't think people have to love Snyder, I just feel that he is like any other billionaire....does good things, does bad things, and probably gets more press for the bad things.

I will criticize when he does bad things, and give credit when he does good things. Honestly, I laugh at the people that make it a point to bring up bad stuff about the guy in a thread that's supposed to talk about something good he has done. In my book, those people are pretty bad people themselves (ironically).

Granted, I don't own season tickets, nor do I spend large amount of money on the Washington Redskins. But still, in this situation i wish people follow the whole idea that if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything.

I"m not going to hate on Snyder in a thread designed to bring something positive about him. Kudos for Snyder on the positive gesture to the communities.

Re: Snyder Sends Kids Outside, Tears Up Their Fields

I always tell this story and I guess this is why Dan Snyder will be a good dude as far as I am concerned. Now he can do some pretty dumb stuff but much like anyone else I have had dealings with but I accept that about them.

Now I went to the Redskins Welcome Home Luncheon a few years back. My wife got them for me as a present for my 30th birthday. I remember it was the year Sean Taylor died and I got to meet him and shake his hand, get his autograph you know the fan stuff. he seemed very shy when speaking but let me move on. So I go by Dan Snyder who is just chilling talking to a I forget who. I tell him to keep working at it and eventually things will work, I reach out to shake his hand. The security guys rush over and grab me, so needless to say I felt a little off becuase you have thsi room full of people and they are about to drag this black guy with locks out of the dinner. He waves them off, says thank you, shakes my hand and says hows the steak ? I say it's great my wife doesn't eat beef so I had two. He laughed and said Hail To The Redskins.

For that, he'll always be alright with me, what he does with someone else I can't speak for. I'm a fan and he comes along with the meal so hey, find the good things !

Sorry for ranting

Snyder gives money to charity. Does anyone really care? If the guy didn't give a dime and put out a winning product he's be loved in this town. But he's basically put out a loser and that's really all the fans care about. JKC did some crappy things in his personal life, but he'll always be loved here cause under his ownership the team had it's best years. That's the bottom line. One's a winner and one's a loser.

Re: Snyder Sends Kids Outside, Tears Up Their Fields

Donald Sterling, who heckles his own players, mocks his own fans and refused to help a former coach with about $75,000 for a life saving surgery, has a dark heart.

Daniel Snyder is just a clueless billionaire who does good things that are often ignored and does silly rich people things (like suing a newspaper) that are sometimes overblown.

...And justice for all.
Snyder Sued Over Unpaid Contractor Fees - City Desk - Washington City Paper

Lesson learned. Always, always, always pay the contractor. Especially when they're responsible for remodeling your bathroom. To bad though, only getting sued for $7,000. Guy deserves worse.
