Forget Ramsey for a minute...My last days as a Redskins fan?
With all of these rumors spiraling out of control now. I want to point out a few things that I've heard. First of all, I heard there's a fair chance LaVar could be dealt on draft day...no way it would happen, but I think stranger things have happened. Second, the whole Jason Campbell thing. Third, that they could move up in the 1st to select Edwards.
I can assure you all...if they do those I'll be going on a tirade on this site again. You can chalk it up to just another one of my rants, but I'm starting to get sick of team turmoil. I hate Dan Snyder and I hate Vinny Cerrato. I think Ramsey could be a great qb and I don't hide the fact that he's one of my favorite players on the team...as is Arrington. Anyway, should they select Campbell I will probably hate Gibbs too. That would leave me liking Portis, some of the O Line, none of the D Line, the LBs, Springs and Taylor. I like Patten, but he's not that good...kinda like McCants...they don't really matter. As I'm moving to New Orleans anyway, it may be time for a new team. Thanks Dan Snyder for all you've brought to Washington. |

lol...sadly...as will I. In spite of my efforts. I'm just really fed up right now and I don't know what's going to happen if they do something profoundly stupid this weekend.

It's hard to imagine them doing anything that would not qualify as "profoundly stupid" at this point. At the rate that they're going, they'll have last place in the division wrapped up by June!

I live in SW Florida. Naturally, I have to work a little harder than some to get my fix for Skin's info. I was listening to a local sports guy (who is real good) who says strong rumor that Miami will trade DE Jason Taylor and their #2 pick for both of Washington's first rounders-Interesting

As the founder and the leader of the anti Ariington defamation league I would just like to say, do you think its possible to trade off Arrington? We all know that the cap hit is to great especially with us swallowing Coles cap hit in 1 lump this season, but a man can dream can't he! :headbange |

Re: Forget Ramsey for a minute...My last days as a Redskins fan?
Guys, guys.......let's just relax for two more days. Agreed, if they do the things jdlea fears, we will all be ranting for months to come about how stupid they are. In fact, if they trade Arrington (they won't) I'll be absolutely inconsolable. But I'm willing to wait and actually see what happens first. I wouldn't put TOO much stock in any of the rumors flying around about the skins yet.
offiss:.....keep dreaming.

Re: Forget Ramsey for a minute...My last days as a Redskins fan?
i think jason campbell would be a excellent choice...i hope we get em
if ramsey never catches on, we need somebody... brunell? hasslebeck? lol campbell would be a great pick. great long ball thrower and decent scrambling and over 60% CP. im open arms. and if we move up to get braylon... then great, ive said all winter and spring that i want to get ramsey a elite wr to give him no more excuses. and if we keep both picks, then great as well, but only if we get a DE out of it, like pollack or tuck with #25 |

I am not as sold on Ramsey as jdlea. Yeah is is a nice guy, but that is not enough. Gibbs has always drafted and developed QB's, even when we had a good one on our team. |

I'm too young to remember Gibbs's first tenure...so my support for him could die this weekend.

Hang in there, man! You gotta stick it out. When we do win again, it is going to be very sweet. Rant away--that's what this board is for, no doubt. But you gotta stick with the burgundy and gold. The worm will turn. It's darkest befor dawn. If it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger. (Insert cliche here )

JWSleep:
If it indeed is darkest just before dawn, why didn't the sun come up after Jeff George left town?
