Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

I have one that no one on here or anyone would speculate on. My choice for comeback player of the year will be Brunnel. Ramsey will get hurt someway, its the nature of the position. Brunnel steps in and catches on fire. That would qualify for a comeback. Just speculation and I truly hope Ramsey lasts the season but stranger things have happenend. Plus I have a problem considering a comeback player from injury. They were good to start, comming back from a dismal season shows more character and will power of the player.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

I would vote for the next joe montana: Patrick Ramsey. After all he has proven how great he is. Just look at his win-loss record and his arm strength and his potential. Just look how far he has gotten us the past 3 years. Wow. He is truly the greatest player all time on the Redskins if not the entire league.

I agree with all his fans on this site he will throw for 75 tds and 20,000 yards he is that good. His potential and arm strength will lead us to the superbowl.

I debated on commenting on this, but rather than look at the win-loss record, I would look at the supporting cast.

It's a team, not a Ramsey.

I agree Malcolm. Hopefully the comeback player will be all 11.

If Ramsey takes us to the playoffs, I bet many here will change their opinion on him. But its gonna take more than just Ramsey. It's the offense as a whole. O-Line, Ramsey, Portis, and our WR's (and my boy Cooley!)

Definitely man. It's a combination of things that has happened the last few years and now hopefully a combination of things improving will get us back where we want to be.

The QB gets a lot more credit or a lot more blame than they deserve depending on how the team does. There are so many factors and the QB is the easiest to blame/praise. I just want the season to start!

Seriously. I've been updating my Dad on what's been going on and he is like "Screw the summer!"...

This has got to be the quietest/slowest offseason ever for the Redskins

I'd much rather be bored than be like, "Dammit, why did the Redskins sign Mushin Muhammed, Courtney Brown and Plaxico Burress."

It does suck though. Soooooooooo sloooooooooooooooooooooooow...

Are you willing to let him prove himself or should we just cut him now and start all over again??

He's headed into his 4th season. 4 years is a pretty decent gauge for a young QB. If he stinks in '05 I'm in agreement the team should look to move on. Until then, let's give him the '05 season before we throw him to the wolves.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

skinz domin8 is constantly cutting on people here. I dont see the need for such rampant skepticism. So what, we like our starting QB. Most of us understand the hurdles he has to overcome to even be in the top 20 starters in this league. but we want to give him a chance. skinz domin8, relax, please.

Re: Comeback Redskin of 2005

the biggest impact will be Jansen because of his ability to help in the run. but I voted for Barrow because not only will he help the d if he comes back healthy. He may even be an up grade compared to pierce.

I am going to keep this post for when your hero loses 9+ games for the Redskins and you people give him every excuse known to mankind.

I can't wait to say "told you so."

The bottom line is he has not shown jack shit since he came to D.C. We should draft a qb and stop wasting time with a lame duck/chicken.
