Early observations.

No regrets about Jason Cambell.

Okung might be out until week 2, maybe 3.

Kold looks a little rusty/nervous or something, but he ain't sharp.

Brandon Lloyd - fantasy sleeper?

It's only week 1!

So far disappointed with the season. Mainly cause the Giants won. But hoping for a McNabbulous night!

The Texans just whipped them up front on both sides of the ball. Some Houston running lanes were huge. Manning never really got into a groove, his receivers dropped some crucial balls, and the Colts could not run effectively. Arian Foster looked great for the Texans but he should be buying dinner for his offensive line. Schaub looked ok throwing the ball but there was no reason for him to throw most of the time, as it was easy for them to pick up 7 yards a clip on the ground.

Translation: it pays to have a running game and not be one-dimensional. It also pays to have guys who can kill QBs.

Yeah. I forgot to mention that Manning got pretty battered, especially by Mario Williams.

There most cerebral QB in the league can't be battered by fat, slow linemen. He's a sex-core processor.

trust me, I agree, but you had some moron analysts assuming we'd be going QB with the top pick...remember when they said Clausen wouldn't fall beyond pick 10?

If Haynesworth continues to play undisciplined (let me get as many sacks as possible) football then theres no way he'll play much next week.

To me this is more like, great we have to play back-to-back two good running team on a 3-4 defense that everyone is just learning. Either way, let's hope for the best, but I hope my concerns don't become a reality.

SIDENOTE: I love how Andy Reid is cutting of Kevin Kolb's balls by bringing in Vick. I know there is no controversy or has nothing to do with Kolb losing his job. But as the commentators mentioned, it's his first start, they shouldn't be bothering that bringing in another QB.
