Which of their 3 mediocre RBs will hurt us the most?

And it is not just Maake, the other starters as well Carriker (injury history), Golsten (not a big power guy, more of a speed guy) and the rest of our DL are not going to strike fear. Our Opponents at the moment only have to scheme and account for Orakpo and Haynesworth on obvious passing downs. Why do we want to get rid of someone that provides this good situation? Cause we do not like his personalty?
We talk about being an agressiv defense and dictating to offenses, Carriker, Maake and Golsten do not provide the level of physical play that will dictate to offenses and can make this system potentially fail or not achieve its goals. This system counts on pass rushers and disruptive style players like Haynesworth.

It really doesn't matter to him and he has made that clear. He has made it perfectly clear that he is going to be a PITA until he is dealt, so why would he play hard?

To assume that he will suddenly become a beast once the scores are counted is a pretty huge assumption given what we know about this guy at this point. After the Cards game, I think Shanahan feels that he can't count on AH to play and if you can't count on the guy to actually play when it matters, why the world would you put up with the other crap he brings?
I believe you are correct as he DID NOT do it last season when he was presumably.......happy?

This board needs an enema.

Take your pick. A bad rushing defense can make mediocre running backs look awfully good. See Timmy Smith in Super Bowl 22.

So what does that mean exactly Ace. I know nothing of ES or thier guys.

The deal is not on the table it was just a quick feeler over the weekend? Is this a negotiation at this point? Are the talks just dead and we have a 12 page thread for old news?

Still try to find out if things are at a standstill or if trade talks are on going...

That, I don't know for sure...

All I know is that the titans came us wanting fat al,then we said we want this and that and they said.."too much"....

I would imagine they are still talking since they want him "badly' as stated. But don't know for a fact though...

Cowboys' running backs are hardly mediocre, far from it. Their offensive line on the other hand...

Well then.......it does appear the likelihood of making BIG happy may be beyond the comprehension of humankind............

I'd think they'd look to PD a lot in the middle. I also wonder if they'd reach back out to Anthony Montgomery. He's in the UFL right now, not sure what the rules are as far as him being able to leave for an NFL team if the UFL season hasn't started yet.

As we all know he was out of shape and playing in a bend but don't break scheme. Haynesworth does better in an aggressive attacking system.
Haynesworth has PROVEN on an NFL field he is a difference maker DT. You want to measure his worth on an off year (last year)? That is your choice.

Montgomery? Don't make me laugh.
We can re-sigh Ramsey and Betts as well.
Cerratto would be next.

If any of them were clearly good, they wouldn't need a 3-headed RRBC.
