Perhaps you're right but they're very crowed at the wr position.

My guess from the current fastest in order

Re: Devin Thomas' inconsistency continues

If they line up Cooley more wide this year, then the most we will see is 3 WRs on the field with Colley being the forth. That sounds a lot like Dallas Clark with the Colts, whom we have seen line up wide for a number of years. I like that idea. I actually like the idea of the 2 TE, 2WR 1RB set that several teams run these days. More blockers on the field, which would make that streach running play to Portis work really well.

Re: Devin Thomas' inconsistency continues

Armstrong is probably the fastest actually. Heard he ran like a 4.2 flat 40 last summer.

Good job, but I'd wonder how accurate this is. What I mean is I presume this is from all their draft testing and I would guess Moss can't run that fast anymore due to him being a bit older and most likely heavier. Thomas might be in the same boat since he has put on a lot of muscle. I could be wrong.

Re: Devin Thomas' inconsistency continues

I think my list would look something like this since we have better numbers:

Banks
Armstrong
Thomas
Moss
Kelly
Austin
Wade
Galloway

You did forget Kelly and Wade.

If Galloway is healthy I'm betting the old guy can still fly

Re: Devin Thomas' inconsistency continues

You might be right. He's still tall and has not gained too much weight. He might be placed up above Kelly on my list.

The guy couldn't hack it as New Englands 3rd wr last year. After Moss and Welker there really wasn't much competition since Stallworth and Gafney left. He is so done.

I didn't look Kelly's up b/c i figured that we all know that speed isn't his calling card. 4.64 /4.53 fast time although i haven't seen this number linked to Kelly anywhere else

4.2? Wow? Where at?
I figured he was fast based on the rave reports from the Dolphins last year.

I trust you but where did you find it?

Armstrong's 40 time is like a song stuck in my head that i can't remember the words to help!

Heard it from someone associated with the league. But he said that's what he recalled, but wasn't sure.
