Re: Campbell A Raider

Would've preferred holding out for a next year's 4th or so. Good luck to the guy.

JLC fail. Adam Schefter already sorted out the details of the trade while JLC is still looking.

Re: Campbell A Raider

whatever, he knows that Oakland sucks. At least he is going to get paid -- 3.14 mill and then 4.51 mill is a nice deal

Re: Campbell A Raider

Tell you what, I did want to see JC traded, because I thought it was a classic "need a change in environment" situation... BUT we got pretty well bent over on this one. Raiders just gave up a 6th rounder and some change for a starting qb. Sounds insane to say, but I could see Oakland having a pretty similar record to ours next year... they've got a lot of potential playmakers... we'll see what happens.

Isn't that what he had with us. It should like riding bike for him. This is not a good move for us. i wish him well.

Re: Campbell A Raider

I know JC wanted the opportunity to start but why go to Oakland? I'd rather swallow my pride and stay here. Can't believe I'm sayin' this but we're more stable than Oakland. He could learn from a great coach, probably get to start 2-3 games and then be unrestricted in 11. I wish him well cause JC is a 100% pure class act.

Seattle Seahawks pick up running back LenDale White in trade with Tennessee Titans - ESPN

The Redskins, who earlier this month acquired Donovan McNabb from the Philadelphia Eagles, received a fourth-round pick in the 2012 draft, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

they are reporting this, not a 6th...so what is it?

Re: Campbell A Raider

Good for Jason. He deserves a new team, a drop back system and a chance to start. I think Oakland provides all three.

I don't think he had the leadership qualities that this team needed but I am thankful how he stood up in the face of some terrible situations.

Yes Mcnabb is known to miss games but Campbell is known to lose games. I get what your saying but, we have traded away so many picks that we need as many as we can get this year and get them developed as quickly as possible. IMO.

I would hate to see what a cold Campbell would do on the field in week 10 if Mcnabb was to go out. Rex is a fine backup. We'll be OK.

I'm real curious to see what we get for Campbell...
