Re: Sweet Video of a Drunk Jerry Jones talking about Tebow and Parcells
It's funny but the video is so bad that there is no way to know for sure that's really him.

Re: Sweet Video of a Drunk Jerry Jones talking about Tebow and Parcells
My old neighbor spent a weekend hanging out with JJ as their daughters went to the same college and where friends. He was up there for parents weekend and met JJ and figured he would be as much fun to hang out with as anyone. Now my old neighbor is a multi millionair so its not like JJ was hanging with some poor guy. This lead to my neighbor, father, and one other guy going to sit with JJ at RFK to watch the skins play Dallas. My father ended up sitting by Clarence Thomas and we won the game with a sack of Troy and he fumbled the ball and we scored a TD winning the game. I'm guessing late 80's early 1990's maybe.

Dallas isn't dysfuntional. They don't hire "consultants" to call plays in the middle of the season to undermine the head coach.

Re: Sweet Video of a Drunk Jerry Jones talking about Tebow and Parcells
If he was drunk and starting spouting off about old ball coach or Zorn we'd all be laughing at it. If it was Gibbs well that would be another story.

Re: Sweet Video of a Drunk Jerry Jones talking about Tebow and Parcells
If JJ only made an ass of himself occasionally this would be a HUGE story. I mean it's not like one of the Rooneys went out and got drunk and made an ass of himself. No big deal.

This is pretty funny. I actually have to give JJ some props on this even though he makes Mr. Burns look vigorous.

WOW, Classy
Even John Wayne and Roy Rogers are ashamed to be cowboys after this.

Re: Sweet Video of a Drunk Jerry Jones talking about Tebow and Parcells
hahaha that was pretty funny...he better watch out. He's lucky he didn't say something really incendiary like "Roger Goodell sucks" or something to that effect because that could really come back to bite him.

Re: Sweet Video of a Drunk Jerry Jones talking about Tebow and Parcells
So what, they caught an old rich guy doing what he does everyday. Hanging out, making friends, and talking shit at the bar. Truth is, you would never catch Dan Snyder in a bar talking to common folks to begin with, so i think that's why it would be perceived differently. Snyder just doesn't strike me as an every man kind of guy. But he doesn't have to, I just want the Skins to win.
For what it's worth, I think Jones still has mad respect for Bill Parcells. I'll bet Bill Parcells chuckles at the fact that Jerry Jones is somewhere drunk bringing up his name. Their business relationship ran it's course, and that was that. I take the "he's not shit" comment with a grain of salt. As far as his comment about Tebow, WOW, don't know what to quite make of that. I mean, whatever you think of Jerry Jones, you can't deny he has a great eye for NFL talent. |
