I hope this is trully about compitition and they sign hunter. Let the best punter win in training camp.

Hunter was arguably the MVP of the redskins last year! Why are we signing this guy when there is a perfectly good punter right here?

I think that his touchdowns are clouding things. He was hurt last year. One game we had the placekicker fill in. Then we had to bring in some journeyman and Smith was using up a valuable roster spot. I forget which week it was but Zorn said they were going to drop him if he didn't play. Is it possible his leg injury is still a concern of theirs?

He was a bottom 8 punter in net and avg. That is too much drama for a bottom 8 punter.

Bidwell's competition will probably come in the form of a young guy I'd imagine.
