Re: Craziest Local Delicacy?
When you say steamed burger you mean they put them in a steamer and cook the entire burger that way. I have seen where they put the burger on a cook top put ice or water sround the burger then they cover it with a top so it also steams as it cooks.

I have eaten there. Ever been to Hudson's? I worked there for a few years and on the shrimp boats that were parked there as well.

That probably only like 5 points for Weight Watchers, LOL! I use to work with this old lady who had her own numbers for WW she seriously thought a big mac fries and a coke was like 10 points. I use to laugh to myself every day when I over heard her counting her points.

Re: Craziest Local Delicacy?
Last night we went out to one of or local Restaurants which was awarded one of the top 50 Restaurants in the US. Last night I had the Bison Rib Eye which was great while my wife had the soft shell crabs. For you guys in Va. Beach if you are ever looking for a place to take the lady in your life this is a little bit of a drive but its worth the drive.
http://www.vintagetavernvirginia.com...DinnerMenu.pdf They also have another place down the street called River Stone Chophouse which is also a great place but is very expensive. River Stone Chophouse |
