Martin Feldstein - The Folly of Unilateral Cap-and-Trade - washingtonpost.com I doubt cap and trade works , it failed in Europe , Power and Control: Enron And Carbon Trading. Enron tried to get in on cap and trade . If Cap and trade does pass , invest in GS , because they along with GE stand to make billions , which is what you get for buying a president . AL gore also stands to make millions more .

Re: Palin to resign

I finally figured out why dems. are so obsessed with Palin and keep her in the news. This came while I was watching the news and they interviewed a few women senate democrats and they where so god awful to look at I wanted to scratch my eyes out. Thus the Dems want to keep Palin in the news to sooth their eyes from this misery.

That's probably not too far from the truth actually. I wonder if Palin had the title "liberal", if she'd be taking so much heat. But I think it has more to do with "how" she came onto the national scene that have Dems panties in bunch. She really parachuted right in the middle of a hotly contested, national campaign without hardly anyone knowing who she was or politics. And so the scrutiny, and all that came with it, was harsh and severe. And it won't let up anytime soon.

Earlier I mentioned how she brings out the worst and the best in voters.

We know that her PAC has raised nearly one million dollars in about six months. SarahPAC collections reach nearly a million: Gov. Sarah Palin | adn.com

Well MoveOn raised $100,000 against Palin in one day. MoveOn Fundraising Email Invoking Sarah Palin’s “Lies” Brings In $100,000 In One Day | The Plum Line

She'd be a fool not to run in '12. The only guy who could come close to her in raising money is Romney and that's because he's well connected. Palin would garner much of the consevative grass roots donors much like Obama did during this past election cycle.

You really don't think the critics were too harsh? Doesn't matter if she is liberal or not, her lack of knowledge while pursuing the 2nd greatest office was scary.

Re: Palin to resign

I don't agree with Palin philosophically, but I could still really get behind her.

Seriously though, her views on foreign policy and social issues are 180 degrees from me, but I can't say that I've seen, read or heard anything definitive that makes me think she's intellectually deficient. She had an awkward interview with Katie Couric, I know.

If someone provided me with evidence to the contrary, I suppose I could be convinced.
