Since Brunell's passes were so terrible. D-Mac would at least be able to go and get them. Oh, wait never mind they were always in the ground or out of bounds.

It was wonderful to see D-mac out there. First I was thrilled to see Ramsey, then he completes a pass to #85 and I couldn't believe it! Then another. And now Gibbs says he'll get more playing time.

Anything at this point to add a spark! I always liked McCants and I hope he DOES get more playing time.

First of all, Gibbs lied if he said that. The reson McCants was activated is because the other WRs he 'believed' in were dropping the ball and the fans and media have been chewing his butt for having him inactive for so long. I guess Ramsey was practicing well all weekk too, huh? Man up, Gibbs. You're still learning what some guys on your own team can and cannot do in a real game!? Gardner is gone after the season ends.

Keep McCants in there. He catches the ball! Our other WR's can't catch. How many drops were there yesterday??? Big playmaker!

brunell liked throwing the gardner, ramsey's always liked throwing to coles and mccants... still not sure we got a shot on the eagles though... and barrow has never been on the 45 man active game day roster... shoving him on IR won't do anything to help mccants get in games... cooley is a great pass catcher, but kol is still a better blocker at this point, and williams loves using 200 players on D, that's whats sucking out some of the active spots... though with our injuries, i'm not sure we even have 45 people that can even play next week.

McCants should drop the "t" in his last name, so it would be McCans!!! We dont need more negativity, but all joking aside I was glad to see him in there. I was also suprised to see how many balls were being thrown to Coles when Ramsy was in there.

IMO I think that Gibbs made the right move. Yeah I know that we have the eagals, steelers, Giants, and Philly all in a row, but really would any one of us feel comfortable with Brunell under center?? Atleast now I really believ that we have a chance against these teams.

I think Gibbs is starting to realize that the post season might be too much to ask for this season and realizes that now is the time to take a look at the other players and see who wants to play. I don't think Gardner is going to be in Washington next year..just MO. I think Thrash has worked extremely hard to earn a spot in the WR line-up! Coles needs to be healthy, because I think the other receivers will challenge him next year. Maybe right now the line-up should be Coles, McCants, and Thrash.

I would not automaticly put McCants in the line up as our 2nd reciever, even if Gardner isn't gonna be here next year. Don't forget that we still have a very young and very talented reciever in Jacobs. I still think that he is holding his own. I want to see him more on the field.

At this point in the game, this is an audition for next year. Jacobs has played well on special teams but the offense needs a WR who can make an immediate immpression in McCants. Jacobs can not drop the passes he dropped against the Bengals. On the real, I have not been happy with the play of Coles as the 1# receiver at all. As a 1# WR he is suppose to get open at any cost. I remember only one occassion when Coles got in front of the CB and Ramsey underthrew the ball to the CB for a INT.

Yeah Jacobs did drop a gimme yesterday, but if I remember correctly he was cutting across the middle on that play. Not that I am making excues for him but given his speed I dont think that was a play talyored for him, if you know what I am trying to say. I mean if his is built like McCants or Gardner ok they are bigger more phisical recievers, where at guys like Coles and Jacobs should be your field strechers. But you are right I did see him drop some easy ones, but then again so has all our other recievers.
