Re: Around the NFL week 1
I've been a Skins fan too long to buy into the Browns this year. I've seen that movie too many times. Trade and overpay a bunch of big name underachievers, ignore depth issues on both sides of the ball, buy into your own hype, get wrapped up in a media circus and national TV schedule.
I'm just glad it's finally somebody else. |

Re: Around the NFL week 1
Our schedule does blow. Why do we get all our division teams on the road in the first six weeks. Plus opening on Thursday sucks too and the extra pre-season game blows!!!!

Very good, and so did the Bears as a whole.

Re: Around the NFL week 1
The Browns could be a good team if they had a defense. They can't outscore EVERYONE, which is what they'll have to do to win this season.

Adrian Peterson is picking up right where he left off last year. Damn the kid is good.

The Vikings defense sure isn't living up to their offseason hype

Re: Around the NFL week 1
And in the last game of week 1... it becomes damn near unwatchable listening to Mike Greenberg do the play-by-play. Absolutely god awful terrible. Ditka and Golic aren't any better.
At least Jaworski and Tirico cancel out that screaming idiot Kornheiser in the early game. No such luck here.
