Smoooooooot on Elliot this morning
Anyone hear Fred Smoot on Elliott this morning? He talked about a bunch of stupid things, contracts, mud..., most importantly Champ. He still says that he's close to Champ, and basicly said Champ regrets leaving because of how well our D is doing and he wanted to be part of it.
Too bad! Give me Portis. |

Maybe Bailey can now see that the grass isn't always greener. I really don't see Denver going that far this year. Baliy wanted out of D.C. And that's what he got.
Thanks for Portis Shanahan.

I wonder how much Fred embellished Champ's feelings?
Champ was a great player, but I like our end of the deal.

Who's Champ Bailey?
Didn't he play corner for us last year or something, and then we got Sean Springs and kicked him to the curb. |

Not exactly in that order, 009, but the ending is the same!

I think your right Springs brings a whole load of different things to the table and he has something to prove (Springs that is) Champ is a great CB but not a game changer... never has been

I didnt really get to see a ton of his games prior to this year, but has Springs always played like this. In addition I agree with you, Springs is throwing himsef around and making some great plays.
