As for the optimism... I'll be optimistic once the Skins show it on the field. I want to see them play consistent and good, and cut out most of the dumb playing. I want to seem them play good, not just talk about it. |

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
The last couple of years Antonio Pierce has been able to read our offense and know every play. This new offense will be an advantage for the Skins. I like the fact that Santana is healthy and Cooley will have a big game.
This game will come down to a field goal. |

27-17 Redskins
CP over 120 yds rushing - 1 td rushing 1 td receiving.. Interceptions or fumble returned for a TD by our defense.. Two field goals.. LOL

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
If you add our yds for Portis ,,, 240 yds ,,,, sounds even better I really think or OL is the key , they clear room for CP & Betts , we control the tempo/clock and JC gets time to find some open recievers downfield . The last time the NY G's had an ass whipping , we gave it to them .

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I think it will be a low scoring game no offense i think Eli returns to old self making bad decisions and I think we can't move the ball good either.

Matty, you're right about these chicken littles around here posing as Skins fans. I've had my cup of Kool-Aid so... I saw the Redskins struggling to adapt to the WCO initially, but the first 15 plays of Zorns script include an end around pass for Randle El, a halfback screen for Portis, and a deep pass to Moss. Quite simply, Zorn lets the guys loose. All the talent that we've been raving about for years comes to the forefront. The system doesn't matter, its still about getting open, catching the ball, and making plays. HTTR |

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I'm usually pretty optimistic, but I don't have a good feeling about this year at all. This game could be very bad.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions
I can't remember a prediction thread with this many people picking our opponents. Did everybody forget that we are the last team to beat the Giants and it was in NY and if Joe Gibbs wasn't so conservative we probably could have ended the Giants season in the third week last year. The presason has really messed some people up. Ask yourselves this. What if Jim Zorn is smarter than you give him credit for and hasn't shown anything this preseason for a reason?
