Re: Former Redskin Wright Goes Wrong
I'm sure its explainable....come on....Lets help out his defense a little. He forgot which pocket he stashed his weed so he went to the police to report it stolen. No one would listen to him because as we all know who goes to the police over stolen weed. right? So because no one was listening he got mad and started yelling. Po Po was called and out of the blue he finds the bag in his pocket and becuase he didn't need to report it he walked away.
Then the police start looking into why he was so upset and BAM they find the weed. What I'm really supprised about is that the police arrested him. Didnt he tell them it was for his glaucoma so he could see the balls being thrown his way? |

Re: Former Redskin Wright Goes Wrong
Ok lets work on his defense.
"I was standing in front of the Police station minding my own business and someone started harrassing me about an autograph. I kept telling them no but they persisted. So I walked away. Then while I was walking home one of my friends asked me to take a package over to another friends house because he had to go to work and I was heading in that direction anyway. I like helping out my friends so I took the bag. Then out of the blue several police cars pulled up. Well I didn't want to talk to them as per my rights and they started using excessive force on me. Then they asked me what was in the bag and I told them I don't know because it's not mine. They said something about because it's not mine then they had a right to look in it to find out who it belonged to. All of a sudden they pull out some weed from the bag and start asking me about it. I told them I had no knowledge of the weed being in the bag and they start interigating me without my attorney present. Needless to say the police locked me up because I wouldn't talk to them. |

Re: Former Redskin Wright Goes Wrong
Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for Mr. Wright. If you are using drugs, it is a clear sign of spiritual starvation. I personally wish him well through this difficult time and hope that it helps him get his life on a good track as soon as possible.

Re: Former Redskin Wright Goes Wrong
I thought Wright was terrible while playing for us, he had one pick and it came when he slipped and fell and the ball came to him, and he got burnt by just about everyone.

Hmmmm, if you think about it...it's not that bad of an idea. I never see too many Police cars at the station, they are all on patrol. If he could have kept quite, might have not been arrested. Then again, weed has never really helped people make the smartest decisions. Maybe.....he was smoking, and decided he needed some munchies.....BUT, the doughnut store was closed....hmmmm.......
