Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
Im so happy for Green and Monk...!!!! These guys were great players man, I was lucky enough to get to See Darrell Green play and remember it and I saw his final game I even have pictures!! I can honestly say that man is the reason I wanted to be a DB in high school.
Art Monk has got to be one of the most awesome WR I have ever seen!!! Explination not even needed all you need to say is hands!! |

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
Finally, Monk gets in. I believe one of the reasons it took so long is Monk had a reputation for being surly with the press. Writers can be huge crybabies and hold grudges for eternity . . .

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
You know what, the best part was when they asked him a question during the phone interview and he said he really is a man of few words I hope that answer made all those writers that voted against feel like shit!! The man is as genuine and humble as they come. What a class act and great human being.

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
It always angered me that Michael Irvin was in there but not Monk. Art didn't need controlled substances to over the middle. ITS ABOUT TIME.

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
Congrats to Monk and Green its way overdue and great news. To those guys who say we should say thanks to people like Peter King and Dr Z for finally voting for Art it was those jerks that kept him out for too long because he wouldn't kiss ass and give BS quotes to journalists when he was playing.
