Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
it's about f-in time!! I shouted as soon as I saw the news on ESPNews. a long overdue decision and it's awesome as hell that both Monk and Green are going in together. if I can arrange it/afford it I'm totally going.

Would you count Emmitt Thomas a part Skin? he was an assistant coach for the Skins..

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
No doubt!! This has got to be the classiest list of players ever selected. Besides Green,Monk and Thomas, Dean, Tippett and Zimmerman are pretty classy and damn good players. Love this 2008 class.

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
I grew up watching Darrell and he has always been my favorite player. I am so happy for him and Art. I am SO SICK of trying to defend Art. I am outnumbered 500 to 1 by Cowboys fans and have been preaching for 8 years now how much of an injustice Art not getting in was. I have been taking blows and getting ganged up against all in the name of him (not to mention the "salt in the wound" of overrated Irvin getting in before Art). Now can wear my #28 and #81 jerseys with a little more pride than before.
CONGRATS MONK AND GREEN!!!!

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
He's got two SB rings w/ the Skins, so I'd say yes. I know he isn't in the HOF for his coaching, but he's still part Skin and another link to the SB teams.

Congrats to Art Monk and Darrell Green. It would have been sweet to see Russ Grimm make it this year, but he'll get it next year. Congrats guys for making the Hall Of Fame!!!

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
Congrats to my favorite player of all time Art Monk. It is great to see him and D. Green both get in - I would have loved to also see Grimm as well but 2 of 3 ain't bad.
I can't wait to see what happens when Art gets up and addresses everyone. By the way media voters - you are 8 years late on this vote and to Cris Carter - wait till next year buddy! |

Re: The injustice is over!!! Art is in!!!
Yeah - once he started talking crap about how Monk is not a HOF he had it coming of not getting in. No Supre Bowl rings had to be one of the arguments against Carter. I think the voting committee needs to think about 7 more years on Carter like they did on Monk if you ask me.
