Re: Developing the Killer Instinct - And How to Beat Dallas

The problem is that our running game always seems to go bye-bye against the 'Chips. Little known stat: Against NFC East teams since he joined the Redskins, Clinton Portis averages only 76 yards a game against the 'Chips, Eagles and G-strings. And he's been held to less than 70 yards 8 times out of 18 games. If there was ever a time Portis needed to carry this team on his shoulders, it's this weekend, when just about everybody else is on crutches. |

Re: Developing the Killer Instinct - And How to Beat Dallas
Schneed, I had the same idea when we played the patriots. I thought, if we come out and just beat the red, white and blue scheisse out of this pretty boy qb and his troupe of all star receivers, they'll fold. 52-7. I don't know if Williams is going to release the hounds this year, at all. I'd say defnitely not now, with CR and ST out. I do think that this game rests with the front four on defense. We need them to actually get some consistent pressure on Romo, knock him down, make him get careless with the ball, which I think can be done. But if we have to blitz to get pressure, it's probably going to take 45 points to outscore them.

Yeah, if you're going to get beat anyway because your secondary is banged up, might as well blitz like crazy and put the quarterback on his ass.

Re: Developing the Killer Instinct - And How to Beat Dallas
The only way to pull out a win in this game, given our injuries, is just playing nasty football. Balls to the wall, aggressive, play like you just don't care what happens football.
A fully healthy 2007 Redskins vs the Cowboys? Sure, I like our chances a lot. Damn competitive, I'd say. The currently depleted Redskins vs the Cowboys? I'm nervous.

Well, then Vaquerito, welcome aboard. And next time, instead of just saying "You're season is over" try telling us why it's over, i.e. Romo is a homosexual because he sleeps with other men, not just Romo is a homosexual. See, it's easy, and fun!
