I know they have a couple of playmakers on D - Wilson e.g. but not sure how stout they are up front. As our O line is now, we'll have to play the same game plan we did the last 2 games, set up the run w/the pass. We've been throwing a lot on 1st downs, think we'll have to keep that up.

Something tells me that Rattay is gonna bounce back & surprise us. They've got the wr's & he is a vet. Also, don't underestimate Russ Grimm's influence on their o line. This one will be close but we'll hold onto the ball late in the game for a change for a late td & the D will close it w/a pick.

Cards 17
They'll be without Karlos Dansby on D, and that's great for us.

(still haven't decided on a prediction yet)

For some reason, I see the Az D showing up on us. If the receivers hang onto the ball, it should be a great game for JC.

I see us winning

It's going to be 24-21 redskins.

ARE is going to return a punt for the winning TD late in the game.

38-7 Redskins

Defense scores two TDs.....one fumble recovery by Carter and Pic 6 by ST
LLoyd has first TD of season
Suisham has a big day, team is just straight up angry, and a back up career loser is at QB for the cards, and WE ARE AT HOME!!!!

Skins 24 Cards 3

I was a laughingstock when I selected the Skins D/ST in my fantasy league this year. It's good to get the last laugh. And yes, I also predict a defensive score against the Cards.

I agree about the AZ defense. Yes they'll be without Dansby, which is good for us, but they are gonna come after our tattered O-line for sure.

I'm not worried about our D- in fact I don't think they'll get anything more than a few Neil Rackers' FGs. But I'm very concerned about our offense. I'm saying Redskins 20, Arizona 6 in a pretty boring football game.

I'll be happy if our offense explodes, but it will once again reinforce our inconsistency from week to week.

For all the reasons I thought GB would win last week (po'd team & fans & playing at home) I think the Skins will win this week. It wont be an easy win but it will be a win.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions

we are getting a break with warner not playing. but i don't think this is going to be an easy game at all. cards have boldin, fitz, b. johnson and e. james. i think it depends on if rattay can play a decent game. if he can't then we should win easily. but he gets the going it's going to be close.

I'm with you. I think Lloyd finally catches his first TD in front of the home crowd OR he grabs a long downfield completion.

The redskins D is great against any team that they play. They will do well against the Cardinals as long as Carlos Rogers plays well. If he doesn't play well, then the redskins will have to give him help with probably Taylor up top. That may open up some things for the cardinals offense, but probably not too much.

Going back to Rogers - he needs to start improving in his coverage and/or start working on making big plays. What I mean by big plays is - intercepting, causing fumbles, or hitting to hurt - that way, the opposing team stops throwing it his way.

Ahh, come on man. Have you not been watching this year? Overall, he's been having a GREAT year. INT returned for a TD?! Awesome.

Sure, he could have tackled lower on that TE, but 95% of his plays have been nothing but great.

Prediction:

Skins 17
Cards 6

Taylor gets a defensive touchdown off an interception - something he was working on the whole week in practice. Betts gets more carries this game. A backup offensive lineman steps it up for the redskins to allow more strong-side runs.
