				Steve Czaban Article

Here is a link to a new Stece Czaban article (sorry if someone already posted it). OnMilwaukee.com Sports: It's enough to make a Redskins fan sick What I found interesting in the article was this tibit "Here's a little factoid that may interest you: since Dan Snyder took over in 1999, not a single high-priced free agent he has brought in has made the Pro Bowl. (NOTE: 2005 Pro-Bowlers Portis and Moss were traded for, remember. Give something to get something.)" |

Yeah well it's a travesty that Marcus Washington didn't make it the past couple of years. And as long as the Romos of the world are getting Pro Bowl nods then that game carries no weight.

Yeah, I wouldn't mention the Pro Bowl as any measure of talent. Britney's cooch could make the Pro Bowl if it had a few good games.

Washington did make the Pro Bowl in 2004, baldy needs to check his facts a little closer. Perhaps if he wasn't always shooting off like a rabid fan he would come off a little more legit.

I guess Czab should do his research before his posts his article. I will say though even if the Redskins are bad for 6 more years I will still be a fan that is emotionally attached to the team - I just feel bad for the season ticket holders that are locked in for 5 years and have to keep paying higher and higher prices to support all these moves. |

I feel like i take up for Czaban alot, b/c usually he sais what i think (for the most part). I am a fan and I've been usually disappointed for the better part of 15 years only to renew hope every offseason. There are worse owners out there and I've got to believe that Snyder wants to win badly enough that he'll do anything, even change a little.

Washington wasn't considered a high priced Pro Bowl blockbuster when he was signed like AA, B. Smith or D. Sanders. He was added as a solid pickup and nothing more kind-of a "role player"...his career didn't take off till after he signed with the 'Skins (a rarity nowdays).

Notice he says "High Priced." When we signed Washington we got him for a very reasonable price and no one expected him to play this well. He was just a regular free agent that panned out to be great. 6 year 25 mil really isn't that large of a contract for the 'skins.
